Luciana began her career at IBM, working in Project Management for Latin America. After 10 years, she joined the team at Estadão as a Product Manager. Over the years, she led the company’s digital transformation, creating the Product department and being responsible for the Digital Strategies team, which focuses on understanding readers’ needs, developing products to address their pain points, and keeping up with market trends. She was responsible for transforming Estadão into Brazil’s first newstech, doubling audience and engagement numbers through the creation of new products.

In the past year, she became the Senior Product Manager at Quartz, a respected American publication, where she is responsible for innovation products and user experience. Working with remote teams, she achieved results such as increasing the daily newsletter reader base and creating Quartz’s first podcast, the Quartz Obsession podcast, which debuted at the top of the American rankings.

Luciana has always prioritized being close to her peers, and thus, along with a group of other product thinkers, founded the News Product Alliance. She currently serves on the Executive Board of this organization as Vice President.

She also holds a degree in Information Systems, a Postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Journalism. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
